I have to give Jackbox credit for trying something new with Zeeple Dome, but its co-op take on an Angry Birds experience is the weak spot in the collection. The pull-back controls work well, but there’s nothing particularly engaging about the action. If you’re looking for a way to clear the house party but don’t want to flick the lights on and off repeatedly, Zeeple Dome will get people yawning and looking for their coats in no time. You need the game on your preferred platform, and then everyone joins in via their phone or tablet to actually play the game via typing, drawing, etc. They’ve really become popular in the era of social distancing as the host can share their screen and then everyone just plays with their mobile devices. Even the games that were expected to be good wound up being far better than I could have anticipated. Add this to some noteworthy quality-of-life improvements, like the ability to log into a room using a QR code, and Jackbox Games continues to bring the goods. As long as the team keeps things simple, there's no reason to stop adding The Jackbox Party Pack to your regular game night rotation. It remains as reliable as it gets.
