Question:
I’m fairly proficient in SDL programming and SDL_NET and have made several small network games (like pong and tanks) that have worked over the internet as long as I have the ports I use forwarded on my computer and of course, run the server .exe before the client. I know I could just run the master server on a personnel computer and also some game servers but the problem is I’d rather have a dedicated server somewhere else so I don’t have to keep my computers on 24/7. How do retail games get servers of their own to run their own games server code? I really want to start making some games that look more professional and more easily acessable. Thanks

- They buy a server and a domain name. Dane
